Parachute Music - Operations Role
Parachute is building a community of musicians and music studios in the heart of Kingsland. We are a small, busy team, juggling lots of balls. This role sits at the centre of the team and is integral to keeping everything running smoothly.
An Overview of Parachute Music
Community: We are committed to building a strong community of music producers, songwriters and artists who are part of the NZ music industry.
Music Studios: We currently operate seven music studios - six smaller project studios and our larger, premium studio. These are used by music producers and songwriters, with some studios booked long-term and some booked by the day. We plan to build an additional five studios this year, bringing our total to twelve.
Artist Development: We work with six young artists each year, preparing them for a career in the music industry. This programme is run by our staff and the developing artists use our studios and facilities during the week.
Commercial Music Production: At times we use our community of creatives to make commercial music, including jingles, advertisements and TV soundtracks for shows such as Dancing with the Stars and X Factor.
